tailored to the individual. The cost of removal is usually based on a number of factors such as:-
● The number, size and weight of the items to be moved
● Distance of the move
● Accessibility and parking at both properties
● Any additional services required such as packing

Yes, all removals carried out by us come with a Goods in Transit insurance of £40,000 as standard. This can be increased if required.

If parking is difficult outside your property or there are any restrictions in place, you will need to contact your local council and arrange for a permit or exemption. We can advise on how much room/time will be required to carry out your removal, this parking will need to be directly outside your property. This applies to both the property at your collection point and also at the delivery address. Any parking fines incurred will be added to your final bill and paid by you.

Please always try and give as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment. Once your solicitor calls you to discuss exchange/completion dates, it is always best to call us to check our availability. 

This is completely your choice, we can offer a full packing service, part-packing or, if you prefer to pack yourself, we can supply and deliver high quality packing materials and offer advice on the best way to pack. You will only be charged for the materials you use and we will collect any unused materials on your moving day.

Once you have accepted our quote we take a 25% deposit to secure the date, this will be deducted from the final bill. Payment for the removal would be required by electronic transfer to our account 72hrs prior to your move.

Like most companies, unfortunately we do. Our quotation does not cover any delays in getting the key to your new property or any waiting time caused by a third party. We will charge £50 per hour after 5pm,  please see our Terms and Conditions.

If you book a removals company and your sale falls through, the more notice you can give the better.
If you give more than 7 days notice before the moving date, you will not be charged for any cancellation or postponement. For notice given less than 7 days prior to your move, a cancellation or postponement fee between 20-100% from the overall price will be charged. Please see our Terms

We will deliver across the UK but focus our removals, pick-ups and storage in our local region of Hertfordshire and the surrounding area. However, if your move falls marginally outside of these areas, please feel free to contact us and we will see if we can accommodate you.
