Our purpose-built storage facility in Cheshunt holds furniture, household goods and business inventory for hundreds of local customers - some for a fortnight between completion dates, some for many years. Every unit is a sealed wooden container, stacked indoors in a dry, weather-tight warehouse.

The facility is alarmed, CCTV-monitored 24/7, and access is by appointment seven days a week. Whether you need a single container while you renovate or twenty for a business archive, you'll only pay for what you use.

Before you store.

How much fits in a single container?
Our standard storage containers hold around 250 cubic feet — comfortably the contents of a one to two-bedroom home, including furniture, appliances and boxes. As a rough guide, a three-bed house usually needs two containers. We'll confirm exactly how much space you need during a free survey, so you never pay for room you don't use.
Can I access my items while they're in storage?
Yes — just give us 24 hours' notice and we'll have your container ready in our access bay for you to reach your belongings. Access is during working hours and is included at no extra charge. If you think you'll need frequent access, mention it when you book and we'll position your container accordingly.
How is my container protected from damp?
Your goods are stored in sealed, ventilated timber containers inside a dry, secure warehouse — never outdoors. Everything is wrapped in furniture blankets and covers before it's loaded, and the building is monitored to keep conditions stable. This keeps belongings clean, dry and free from damp for as long as you store with us.
Are my belongings insured while in storage?
Yes. Storage insurance is available and we strongly recommend it — you declare the replacement value of your goods and they're covered for the duration. It's inexpensive and gives you complete peace of mind. We'll walk you through the valuation and cover options when you book.
What's the minimum and maximum storage term?
There's no long tie-in — the minimum is typically two weeks, and there's no maximum, so you can store for a few days between homes or for several years. Many customers start with a rough end date and simply extend month to month. Just give us a week's notice when you're ready to have your items back.
Can I store a vehicle, motorbike or piano?
We can store motorbikes, pianos and similar specialist items — they're prepared and protected appropriately before going into secure storage. Cars and larger vehicles depend on space, so please ask and we'll let you know what's possible. Our specialist crew handles pianos and antiques to the same high standard as a move.
Do you store business inventory or archives?
Yes — plenty of local businesses use us for stock, equipment, document archives and seasonal overflow. With 24 hours' notice you can access your container to retrieve or add items, making it a flexible off-site store. We're happy to quote for ongoing commercial storage with regular access built in.
How do I pay — weekly, monthly or upfront?
Storage is billed monthly in advance by standing order or card, with no lengthy contract. If you know you're storing for a fixed period you can pay upfront, and we'll often discount longer terms. There are no hidden fees — the monthly price we quote is what you pay.
